These Thumbvalves have been replaced by the easier to use Flowvalves.
To remove foreign material clogging your thumbvalve, disassemble as shown below. NOTE: there are two versions of thumbvalves, older and newer. Unscrew the the small brass hex screw and/or the larger brass hex screw under the handle. Pull out the inner stem and O-rings as shown. Check for debris. Refresh O-rings with vaseline or lubricant and/or replace them when they are flat and dry. You can order O-rings by calling 800-948-2657. Re-assemble.
